Farm & Food Classes for Kids

Is your child an aspiring chef? A budding homesteader? Or does she just like to get her hands dirty? If so, sign up for one of our farm and food skill-building series for kids. Each series offers five classes, where kids get hands-on experience growing and preparing food, identifying vegetables, herbs and flowers, making projects, and having fun!

Junior Chefs

Our Junior Chefs will learn kitchen fundamentals such as knife skills, sautéing, roasting and stock-making while preparing deliciousseasonal snacks. On the menu are smoothies, stir fries, pickles, dips, jam, and more! Junior Chefs will learn to identify herbs and use them to add flavor to their food. All of our chefs will create their own recipe books to share with the whole family!
