From July 1-October 29, 2017, seventeen sculptures will be available to view with a self-guided walking tour. This juried four-month outdoor sculpture exhibit showcases Mid-Hudson Valley artists at Poughkeepsie Farm Project and Vassar College's Ecological Preserve. Art on the Farm is FREE and open to everyone!

Learn ancient techniques of plant medicine making with PFP herbalist Beatrix Clarke. Three workshops will demonstrate the art of tincturing, salve making and making winter remedies. You will be able to make your own home remedies.

Salve Making: Through the creation of healing salves, we can receive the benefits of herbs as well as alleviate dry skin. Learn how to makesalves and lip balms. (The same that are made by PFP herbalists).

Do you have a budding young chef in the family?  Junior Chefs Cooking Club is for youth who want to explore the world of culinary arts!
Together with Chef Katie Key, Junior Chefs will be led through a 5 week program that will get them thinking like a chef each time they step into the kitchen!

Our 10th annual Soup-A-Bowl! Every fall, the Poughkeepsie Farm Project (PFP) and friends celebrate food and community at Vassar College’s Alumnae House with the Soup-a-Bowl Benefit Luncheon. Proceeds benefit the charitable and educational programs of PFP. Ticket-goers are treated to various bowls of soups, breads, beverages, and desserts, music stylings from The Roundabout Ramblers, games, a silent auction, and a handmade bowl from local artisans. Gleaning is a win-win-win – for the farmer, for the environment, and for folks who are food insecure. Hudson Valley gleaning experts will be discussing the ins and outs of gleaning and opportunities for you to participate. Gleaning opportunities exist throughout the local growing season. Find out how you can participate! Specific gleaning opportunities are being scheduled for the end of September to rescue produce for Feeding the Hudson Valley to be held Saturday October 7, 2017 on the Walkway over the Hudson.
