Pepper, Hot, “Bangkok” – Capsicum annuum
Description: Small, fiery hot 4” fruits set heavily on these large, robust plants. Suitable for using green or red, and easily dry for chili flakes.
Growing Tips: Thrive in well-drained, fertile soils with a pH of 6.5.
Spacing: 18-24”
Height: 24-30”

Pepper, Hot, "Jalafuego Jalapeno” – Capsicum annuum
Description: Highly productive and disease resistant jalapeno variety. 3.5-4” fruits are moderately hot. Allow to ripen red and smoke for chipotle peppers.

Pepper, Hot, “Lemon Drop” – Capsicum baccatum
Description: A popular chili pepper from Peru. Sweet with a mild heat and slight notes of citrus. High yields of 2-3”, slightly crinkled fruits.
Growing Tip: Thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with a pH of 6.5
Spacing: 18-24”

Pepper, Hot, "Red Ember” – Capsicum annuum
Description: Cayenne type with a sweet and moderately warm heat. Thin enough to dry, also makes excellent hot sauce.
Growing Tips: Thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with a pH of 6.5

Pepper, Hot, "Serrano” - Capsicum annuum
Description: High yielding serrano with avg. 3” fruits. The dark green fruits are traditionally eaten green but also make fine chipotle if ripe.
Growing Tips: Will thrive in well-drained, fertile soils with a pH of 6.5. Abundant phosphorus and calcium is needed for the best results.

Pepper, Sweet, "Carmen” - Capsicum annuum
Description: The sweetest of sweet peppers. Long, Italian “bull’s horn” (corni di toro) fruit, is wonderful roasted, stuffed, grilled, in sauces, and best of all, eaten raw.
Growing Tips: Best when picked at bright red.
Spacing: 12-18 inches

Pepper, Sweet, "Lunchbox” - Capsicum annuum
Description: These beautiful, mini peppers are delicious sauteed, as an additions to salads, and of course, perfect for a healthy snack.
Growing Tips: Pick peppers promptly when they reach full color and size to encourage further fruit set.
Spacing: 12-18 inches

Pepper, sweet, "Olympus” – Capsicum annuum
Description: A bell pepper for the northeast, this thick-walled, fruity and sweet pepper ripens from green to red. High disease resistance.
Growing Tip: Plants may require support when bearing fruit.

Pepper, sweet, "Lilo” – Capsicum annuum
Description: A bell pepper for the northeast, this thick-walled, fruity and sweet pepper ripens from dark purple to red. High disease resistance.

Pepper, hot, "Habanero Magnum” – Capsicum annuum
Description: Also called chili pepper. A super hot pepper whose yield is erratic in the northeast, will yield a salmon orange colored pepper.

Pepper, sweet, "Habanda” – Capsicum annuum
Description: A sweet, completely heatless pepper offering the full fruity, tropical flavor of a habanero without the heat. Known for its bright-orange wrinkled fruits that are excellent raw or cooked.
Growing Tip: Extremely productive and early.

Pepper, sweet, "Goddess” – Capsicum annuum
Description: A long thick-walled sweet 9” banana pepper. Fruit is mild when yellow and moderately sweet when they ripen to red.
Growing Tip: Plants thrive in well-drained soil with abundant phosphorus and calcium. Pick pepper promptly to encourage further fruit set.

Pepper, sweet, "Bastan” – Capsicum annuum
Description: Sturdy, upright plants produce high yields of uniform 5" smooth, mostly two-lobed fruits. Bastan's fruits may be used at the green unripe or brown ripe stages. Excellent fried, roasted, or in chile rellenos.
Growing Tip: Plants thrive in well-drained soil with abundant phosphorus and calcium.

Husk Cherry, “Toma Verde” - Physalis philadelphica
Description: Early maturing tomatillo, large, flat-round green fruits. Use in salsa or Mexican cooking.
Growing Tips: Can stake. Plants drop ripe fruit, could be picked from the ground
Spacing: 24-36 inches

Hardiness: more cold tolerant than tomatoes

Cherry, "Indigo Cherry” - Solanum lycopersicum
Description: Large nearly black cherries pack exceptionally rich flavor. High yielding. Indeterminate.
Growing Tips: Prune to several vines and trellis.

Cherry, "Sun Gold” - Solanum lycopersicum
Description: The best cherry tomato developed, a perfect combination of deep sweetness with a hint of acid tartness. Small fruits ripen very early to rich apricot and keep growing until frost. Indeterminate.
Growing Tips: May split after rain, a great excuse to eat off the plant.

Cherry, "Tiny Tim” - Solanum lycopersicum
Description: The perfect cherry tomato for small spaces, this dwarf variety produces large yields of tasty red cherry tomatoes and thrives in a pot or other container

"Big Beef” Tomato - Solanum lycopersicum
Description: Large globe-shaped red fruit with broad disease resistance.
Growing Tips: Tomato plants thrive with regular watering, full sun, and well-drained soil with plenty of calcium. Trellis plants and prune suckers and lower leaves to improve airflow, reduce disease, and increase yields.

"Black Beauty” Tomato - Solanum lycopersicum
Description: Among the darkest of tomato varieties, with a nearly complete blue-black skin and exceptionally rich meaty flesh. Flavor is outstanding and rich in antioxidants..

"Brandywine” Tomato - Solanum lycopersicum
Description: Meaty with a perfect hint of tartness. Gets odd shapes sometimes, but known as one of the best tasting. Indeterminate.
Growing Tips: Avoid too much nitrogen as it causes lush foliage with few ripe fruits. Staking can increase production and reduce rotting.

"Cherokee Purple” Tomato – Solanum lycopersicum
Description: Famously rick flavor and texture. Medium-large flattened globe, 8-12oz fruits. Color is dusky pink with dark shoulders.
Growing Tip: Prune to several vines and trellis or support. Plant outside when night temperatures are above 45F.

Description: Dark pink tomato with green striping and very sweet flavor.

Description: San Marzano is considered one of the best paste tomatoes of all time, with Old World look and taste. Whole 4–6 oz. tomatoes peel easily and cook down quickly.

"Valencia” Tomato - Solanum lycopersicum
Description: A Maine family heirloom, fruits are smooth, round, and sunny with full tomato flavor and lower acidity than red types. The meaty interior of this pretty tomato has few seeds.
Growing tips: Provide a strong trellis or other support, and water at ground level rather than wetting stems and leaves
